In October 2024, the Mojave Spaceport in California became the focal point for enthusiasts of RC Giant Scale racing. This thrilling event, hosted by Doug Killebrew, brought together RC hobbyists, racers, and spectators to witness high-speed, meticulously crafted aircraft compete in one of the most unique settings for such a competition.
The Mojave Spaceport, known for its association with space exploration and aviation innovation, provided the perfect backdrop for the event, offering a vast, open sky and a dedicated, world-class facility. Participants showcased a range of Giant Scale aircraft, many of which exceeded the size of typical RC airplanes.
