MA staff is working to compile photos of National Model Aviation Day events from across the country.
Saturday, August 17 was the inaugural National Model Aviation Day and hundreds planned to hold events. Proceeds from the activities benefited the Wounded Warrior Project.
Special events took place at the International Aeromodeling Center, in Muncie, Indiana, and some of our Facebook friends have shared their videos and photographs of their events. We have posted some of the photos here showing clubs across the country celebrating the hobby and sport of aeromodeling.
